Blue Grass Airport (LEX)
If you're flying into Blue Grass Airport (LEX), you're in luck, it's a small, easy-to-navigate airport just 15–20 minutes from most hotels in Georgetown and downtown Lexington.
Ride-shares like Uber and Lyft are available, but rental cars are also a great option if you want to explore the bourbon trail, horse farms, or local attractions during your stay.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
If you're looking for more flight options, CVG is a great choice. It is about a 1-hour drive from Georgetown.
Note on Transportation: While Uber and Lyft are available, they will be very expensive for the hour-long trip to Georgetown. We highly recommend a rental car for this route, which will also give you the freedom to explore the area at your own pace!
Louisville International Airport (SDF)
SDF is another excellent option for those traveling from further away. It is located approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Georgetown.
Note on Transportation: Please keep in mind that a ride-share (Uber or Lyft) from Louisville to Georgetown will be very expensive due to the distance. Renting a car is the most cost-effective and convenient way to get to the wedding and enjoy the beautiful Kentucky scenery along the way.
